Meet Jenai

I took my first yoga class at my local YMCA in Seattle, WA.  At the time, I just thought yoga was another fitness class offered at gyms.  I immediately enjoyed the even paced class that offered both strength and stretching exercises along with beautiful, calming music. I took classes here and there during college but nothing consistent. Years later, after moving to Huntington BeacJenaih, CA, I found a little yoga studio near my home. I fell back in love with yoga and began practicing twice a week. I quickly learned that yoga was so much more than just a fitness class. It is a culture, a lifestyle.

I received my yoga teaching certification at YogaWorks in Costa Mesa, CA, in 2009. Since then, I have taken continued ed to specialize in teaching pre- and post-natal, mommy & baby, seniors, and Stand Up Paddle yoga. I find teaching private 1:1 sessions and small groups the most rewarding and the most effective.

My intention is to teach my clients how to use yoga as a tool for self-care and self-realization so they may better enjoy the full potential of their lives both physically and mentally.

“Self-care is not about self-indulgence; it’s about self-preservation. ” -Audrey Lorde
